Team 253, the Boba Bots, is a non-profit FIRST®Robotics Competition team representing Mills High School in Millbrae, California. Our team has been fully led and organized by high school students since 1998. We are made up of dedicated members from varying backgrounds who work to promote STEM education among youth, learn about robotics, construct a robot, and have fun while learning skills applicable to future careers. Our team has a focus on sustainability, team culture, and community impact.
The mission of FIRST® is to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders and innovators, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering, and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities, including, self-confidence, communication, and leadership.

Students Making Awesome Robotics Technology (SMART)
July 10 to August 7 (every Saturday from 1:15-3:15)
From July 10 to August 7, the Boba Bots will be conducting a summer program for incoming 6th graders to incoming 9th graders. This program will be completely free, and will consists of different STEM classes that students can sign up for which include programming, electronics, construction, and operations (publicity). Also this program will be completely virtual!
