Build Bots, Build People, Build CommuniTEA

Team 253, the Boba Bots, is a non-profit FIRST®Robotics Competition team representing Mills High School in Millbrae, California. Our team has been fully led and organized by high school students since 1998. We are made up of dedicated members who work to promote STEM education in our local community, learn career-applicable skills while constructing a robot, and to bring people together over a shared love of robotics. Our team emphasizes sustainability, team bonding, and the impact that we as students can make on our community.

The mission of FIRST® is to inspire young people to be STEM leaders and innovators by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering, and technology skills; that inspire innovation; and that foster life skills they can carry with them forever, including cooperation and leadership.

Rotationals - Sep. 2

Rotationals is our annual introductory meeting for people joining our team! In this meeting, upcoming members tour each department, gaining valuable insight into what each department does. Through this meeting, new members choose which department they want to be in when they officially join the team.

Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
The Makerspace (Rm 262) is open on weekdays MWF from 3:45 to 7:00 pm. Meetings are conducted to design, prototype, and construct our robot for this year's game and competitions! You can check out the Makerspace by clicking the button above!
